In 2005 when Faith
(singer and composer) joined forces with Finch (drums) to
create an exciting and unique new project which culminated
into a three piece arsenal now called The Shiver.
After the release of their first demo "Shade’s Changing”
Carlo Bellotti noticed the band and decided to include The
Shiver in Alkemist Fanatix Europe’s roster.
In 2007, The Shiver signed a contract with UK Division
Records (UK) that released their Debut Album “Inside” in
January 2008 with a worldwide distribution and promotion.
After many gigs in Italy and Europe commenced on their first
tour in the UK playing London, Manchester and Liverpool. The
UK market immediately gravitated toward The Shiver’s music
with The Guardian and The Chronicle covering the band. After
that, the band received some amazing feedback from the music
press, appearing in many Music Magazines and Webzines across
Europe. The Shiver has been featured on Rocksound , Gothic
Beauty, Big Cheese, Rocksound, Fireworks, Flash Mag,
Benzoworld, Ravenheart Music, Metalwave and Percussioni.
The bands notoriety brought them to the attention of Reality
Entertainment, signing them to a world wide deal in 2009.
During early 2009 Faith and Finch composed the songs for
“A New Horizon”, an album with a fresh, new sound that shows
the growth of the band. “A New Horizon” was produced by The
Shiver and Alessandro Paolucci (Raw Power) who also played
bass. Guitars are played by Stefano Tocci (Incoming Cerebral
Overdrive).
