The untold story of Woodstock 1969 will finally be told by the inceptor and co-creator of Woodstock 1969, Artie Kornfeld. “The Greatest Peaceful Event in History” will be released in book and DVD formats in early 2009 to co-incide with the 40th anniversary and the re-release of the famous Woodstock Movie.

Artie is asking the world, Were you at Woodstock? If you were, he would like you to share your photographs and memories of those three Magical Days in 1969 for possible inclusion in the book and DVD. Artie wants the readers to get the true feeling behind Woodstock and needs YOU to contribute your Woodstock memories and photographs to help bring us all “out of the woods, back to the garden” and faithfully document the most famous Festival in history from the fans perspective.

Artie Kornfeld is a music industry icon. He is a songwriter, manager, publisher, performer, promoter, and record executive. He has influenced all phases of the rock music business for over four decades. Although well known for being the sole promoter and co-creator of Woodstock ‘ 69, Artie encompasses much more than being the spirit of the greatest music and social phenomena of all time. He has experienced the music scene from the inside, he’s personally known the rock stars, lived the dream of the Woodstock Nation, soothed the egos of anxious musicians, written the songs that propelled them to the top of the charts and arranged the deals that made them famous. And yet, he still remains a humble man intent on sharing his experiences so that the spirit of the peace and music of the Festival will live on. As we close in on the 40th anniversary of Woodstock ’69, Artie has decided to finally share his story. He tells of the events that prepared him to promote Woodstock, of his experience of organizing the musicians for the concert, preparing them before they went onstage, and of course, his own take on what Woodstock meant to his generation and what it continues to mean for all those who appreciate what occurred during those three magical days in August 1969.

Virtual Reality Becomes Reality for Second Life Musician

Foresthill, CA – For the first time in history, a virtual avatar has received a real worldwide recording contract. Second Life (SL) blues musician Von Johin has been signed to an artist contract with California based Reality Entertainment, Warren Croyle, CEO of Reality Entertainment, announced today. “Never before has a virtual character been signed to a worldwide recording contract. Von Johin is legendary in the virtual community Second Life for his heart pounding live shows,” says Croyle. Second Life resident Pud Puchkina, who in real life is director of operations for the east coast division of Reality Entertainment and Second Life resident Kateyes Wingtips, the virtual representative for Reality Entertainment have been scouting the growing number of live performers in SL for several months and handling the daunting task of choosing the Avatar that fits the ethos of Reality Entertainment – a multimedia, virtual music label, book publisher and film company. Puchkina stated, “It was a hard decision, but Von Johin is the real deal, he is original and plays from his heart. Just the man and his guitar, with just these two instruments and a virtual appeal like no other, he brings crowds to their feet daily.” Reality Entertainment plans to release Von Johin’s debut album exclusively on iTunes and then to all digital download outlets worldwide.

What is the meaning of existence?, Is there a Grand Architect? Is there an ultimate truth searched for by countless generations and lost in the mists of time?

Today we have a new science, a new terminology to explain and expound upon the biggest beliefs and religious systems. It has become apparent that the truth and understanding of our inner-selves is, in the end, our ultimate quest. The void between belief and reality is indicative of the troubled planet we live on. The universe is an awe inspiring place, filled with galaxies and yet also quite empty. Around 10 to 15 billion years ago existence began and time erupted into a void of nothingness with the comically named Big Bang. The term was in fact given by Fred Hoyle, the infamous astronomer, who paradoxically believed in a totally different concept he called the Steady State Theory, whereby the universe gradually emerges, rather than in one incredible explosion. Today, scientists have all-but proven the big bang theory with measurements of red and blue shift, the coming towards and going away noise seen in the red and blue edges of the light spectrum. In addition to this at the end of the last century scientists discovered background radiation signatures from the very first cosmic moments of the big bang.

A series of special numbers now exist which explain how all things work, from the atom to the largest sun. Gravity, electromagnetism, time, light and all-manner of phenomena emerged with interlinked and intertwined mathematical strands that unite all things to each other. What was created, was a wonderful structure often termed the Matrix.

We as humans are poised at the very centre of this incredible force. It would take as many humans to make up the mass of our Sun as there are atoms within each one of us. We are perfectly situated in between.

Our size and our position in the solar system is crucial for life to exist as it does. It is the nature of number that allows this wonder – an equation first formed in the original moments and according to Max Plank, mind of the big bang.

Molecules, living cells and minerals are all formed by atoms combining together in special mixes to create different substances. All are atoms, all are particles, all have sub-nuclear particles and the galaxies themselves are held in position by these sub-nuclear particles. What scientists do not yet know is the ultimate question for them – what is the synthesis between the cosmos and the quantum world. What is the thread that links the quantum to the cosmos?

It is because of division in language and perception that this answer cannot be found. But we will discover this secret thread and find that if we pull upon it, we shall unravel the mysteries of the universe…
